What to Expect During Your First Visit

Your first visit starts with gathering important information, such as your medical history and insurance details. We also ask for the names and contact information of your doctors, so please have this information available. 

We then discuss your medical history, address your concerns and answer your questions. During your first appointment, we also complete a full eye examination.

There are a few key details to keep in mind before you arrive at Retina Associates:

• Anticipate a 2-hour appointment
• Please bring dark glasses with you
• Please have someone available to drive you home, as we also dilate your pupils during your eye examination
• Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at all locations
